Hello and welcome! Today I’m sharing a tag for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. I haven’t made a mixed media tag in a long time, and I must say I’ve missed it. The challenge prompt is “We’re On a Roll” and makers were encouraged to “add wheels, cogs, paper rolls, circles, balls, anything round/circular you can think of, to your project.”

I had a collection of metal gears in my stash, so that was my inspiration for this tag. I made a background using Tim Holtz distress inks, did some stamping and inking around the edges with Ranger black archival ink, and used some cutouts from scrapbooking paper to create the finished product. I added an eyelet with my crop-a-dile and threaded some green ribbon through it.
